I'm so glad that I found this place. I scheduled the soap making class for myself and one of my closest friends. We were able to bring some yummy goddies and bubbly. Lea was amazing! She set up a table for us to place our food and drinks and made the class so enjoyable. We learned alot about the health benefits of the ingredients we put in our soaps. I really enjoyed the class. I learned so much about essential oils and organic ingredients used to make the soap. Instructor is very passionate about her classes and really has taken the time to put the class together and allow us to make our own soap using the hands on approach. This is a must take for anyone wanting to learn soap making or wanting to start a business. Since taking the class I have decided to do it as a business. I took a soap class before with another studio that did take me through the entire process so I decide to take a soap class with Scentsuosity. This was the best decision. Scentsuosity taught me the step by step process. She also taught me the easiest and safest way to handle lye. I highly recommend this class. Thank you Lea! I couldn't have asked for a better business mentor and soapmaking teacher. I had never made soap in my life. Lea gave great instruction, exhibited patience, and accentuated that there was nothing to fear with soapmaking, especially with dealing with lye. After hours and HOURSSSS of searching the internet and watching countless YouTube videos I FINALLY built up the courage to take a soap making class. I knew I wanted to do COLD PROCESS soap but i didn't know where to start. After a QUICK search I came across Lea and Scentsuosity. I took Lea's Cold Processed Soap 101 Class. When I first walked through the door, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Lea's was kind, professional and very knowledgeable . I knew I wanted to make soap, not just soap COLD PROCESSED SOAP! I tried the melt and pour method, but it was not for me.. With cold processed soap making, I had a great concern with handling the lye.. After taking Lea's class, my concerns with handling the lye was a thing of the past . Taking this class was very rewarding, It was like having a girls day out with your BFF. Thank you Lea you Rock!!! I'm now on my way to becoming a great COLD PROCESSED SOAP maker.
